Our Story

About four years ago, a small group of parents gathered at Gold Park in Hillsborough with a simple goal to give our kids more time on the soccer ball. What began as six people meeting on Saturday mornings at Gold Park has grown into a thriving community of players of all ages regularly coming together to play, connect, and grow through soccer. From these gatherings, Gold Park Football Club (GPFC) was born.

As our community has grown, so has the need for quality field space, training opportunities, and more consistent access to play in Hillsborough and the surrounding areas. GPFC has the opportunity to provide affordable, high-quality local soccer experiences that strengthen both player development and community connection.

As a result the original group decided to incorporate GPFC as a nonprofit organization. This step will help us expand opportunities, improve resources, and continue building a community centered around soccer, growth, and belonging.
