Field Space and Equipment
The soccer field at Gold Park is our name sake and has served us well for years. As we have grown its difficult for the field with it's current configuration to support our numbers. We are actively looking to both improve the Gold Park field as well as seek other affordable places to play with a surface of quality that allows our youth to learn and for us all to enjoy!
In addition over the years we have been able to contribute different types of equipment to support our play such as soccer balls, cleats, pinnies, cones, pop-up goals, and scoreboards. Over time this equipment deteriorates and needs replacement or upgrade.
Training and Service
Much has been made of the US model of soccer development which is "Pay to Play." While currently it is unrealistic to have truly quality soccer coaching with no compensation, we do believe affordable common sense quality training is possible. We are currently striving to put together affordable and donation based services that supports the soccer community. These may include soccer specific physical training, techical skills workships, goal keeper training, and mental coaching. As we determine how we can build these affordable quality services, we will provide more information and populate our soccer calendar.
We recognize that our goals are big, and would have it no other way. We're excited to do everything we can to energize our soccer community! And this is only the beginning!
